A native of Lagos, Nigeria, Ifeoluwa Okusanya, M.D. earned her medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos in 2003. She completed a mandatory internship at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital in 2004 before relocating to the United States for further training. Dr. Okusanya completed her internal medicine internship and residency as well as a fellowship in Cardiology at State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center in Brooklyn from 2005-2011.

Dr. Okusanya joined Gresham & Associates Cardiology Group, PLLC in November of 2011 after completing her cardiology training. Her goals and philosophy are in alignment with the overall goal of the practice. Dr. Okusanya is dedicated to providing comprehensive, high quality cardiac care to help reduce the occurrence of heart disease and to improve quality of life in cardiac patients.

Dr. Okusanya is an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Cardiology, Association of Black Cardiologists and the American College of Physicians. Her primary area of specialization is non-invasive cardiology including but not limited to diagnostic testing, treatment and prevention of cardiac diseases. She is also trianed in multiple modalities of cardiac imaging including Echocardiography, Radionuclide Imaging and Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT) and she is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
